(1) in time 及时。“来得及做某事”可以用“be in time to do sth.”
① in time意为“及时”, 表示动作在规定的时间内或提前完成。
② on time意为“准时;按时”, 相当于at the right time。
(2) fall off 跌落。 还可以用fall down from来表示。
fall off 还可以表示数量下降;削减;降低;衰退;质量下降。
