Summary
but的用法
并列连词but意为“但是”,表示转折关系,所连接的成分意思相反
或相对。
so的用法
并列连词so表示“因此、所以”之意,常用来连接两个简单句,
这两个简单句有意思上的因果关系。
because的用法
从属连词because 表示“因为”,接表示直接原因的从句, 一般放在
主句的后面,也可放在主句前面,它表示的语气最强,在回答why的
问句时,必须用because。
【注意】so和从属连词because 不能一起连用。也就是说,使用了
并列连词, 就不用because(从属连词); 使用了because,就不用so。

The best time to visit my home town is in spring because the weather is always sunny then, but not too hot. It also doesn’t rain much in spring. It is very important to know that if you want to visit the town. It’s a good idea to wear comfortable shoes, so you can walk around the old city. It is very beautiful, but dishes in restaurants and things in shops may be very expensive.
