Is Tom smarter than Sam No, he isn’t. Sam is smarter than Tom.
Is Tara more outgoing than Tina No, she isn’t. Tina is more outgoing than Tara.

2.词后只加-r(以字母e结尾的词)
形容词和副词比较级的变化规则
long——longer tall——taller short——shorter
1. 词后直接加-er(一般情况)
nice——nicer late——later
3.变y为i,再加-er(以“辅音字母+y” 结尾的词)
heavy——heavier easy——easier
thin——thinner big——bigger
4. 双写最后的辅音字母,再加-er(重读闭音节词尾只有一个辅音字母)
5.词前加more(多音节次和部分双音节词)
outgoing——more outgoing beautiful——more beautiful
6.不规则变化
many / much – more good / well – better
bad / badly – worse little – less
far – farther / further
比较级有变化, 一般词尾加 er。
词尾若有哑音e,直接加r就可以。
辅音字母加 y ,要把y变 i。
双写变化有几个, 大红胖瘦悲湿热。
不规则 记心间,两多好坏一少远。
多音节 词前变,词前加more记心间。

2. A + 实义动词 + as 副词原形 + as + B
结构为:
否定形式:not as + adj. /adv. + as
e.g. Amy is not as tall as Peter.

结构为:
A + be + 形容词比较级 + than + B

1. 含比较级的一般疑问句结构:Be+A+比较级+than+B?
助动词/情态动词+A+动词原形+比较级+than+B?
肯定回答:Yes, A+be/助(情态)动词
否定回答:No, A+be/助(情态) 动词+not
Does Tara work as hard as Tina Yes, she does.
Who’s more hard-working at school Tina thinks she works harder than me.
