All my teachers and classmates praised my designs for the art festival. They think I have a real gift for painting. However, I once did not like art lessons because I could not draw very well.
One day, I was playing with some paint as usual in Ms Luo's art lesson. I mixed the paint with water. As I took the brush away, I dropped some paint onto the paper. Looking at the mark, I decided to blow it. The
paint began to run, so I blew harder. The paint ran in all directions and made a very interesting picture! I forgot that I was in class until Ms Luo came by my desk. “That's a very good picture, Sandy.” said Ms Luo. She encouraged me to keep trying and make more wonderful pictures.
I did make some wonderful pictures later. Since then, I have been crazy about crayons and paints. I enjoy myself in the world of colours every time I paint.

Both my parents and teachers think I am able to sing well because I have a gift for singing. However, once I didn't like singing because I was shy. I was afraid of singing in front of many people.
My mother had a birthday party for herself when I was five. At the party I sang Happy Birthday To You in a low voice. After singing, all the people clapped hands. I won high praise from them. They said that I had a good voice. I felt happy. My mother encouraged me to keep trying and sing more beautiful songs. At that time I found that singing was such an interesting thing.
In my free time, I often sing songs to others. I got a lot of fun from singing. Because of singing, my life becomes more colourful.

take away意为“拿走,拿开”,为“动词+副词”结构,宾语若是名词,则放于away前后都可,宾语若是代词,则放于take与away 之间。

encourage sb. to do sth.意为“鼓励某人做某事”
encourage sb. not to do sth.意为“鼓励某人不要做某事”。

e.g. She does speak English very well.
她英语确实说的非常好。
句中的did表示强调。助动词do可以用于肯定句的动词前以加强语气,其后动词用原形。
