Liuyang High School Art Festival will be held in our school in two weeks. We are supposed to organize an art exhibition to show visitors famous Chinese and Western masterpieces.

Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art.
His works are characterized by bold colors, dramatic, impulsive and highly expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundation of modern art.
He sold only one painting work during his lifetime and became famous after his suicide, aged 37, which followed years of poverty and mental illness .

Mona Lisa is a half-length portrait of a woman by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci, which has been acclaimed(受高度赞扬) as the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about and the most parodied(模仿) work of art in the world.
The painting is in oil and is believed to have been painted between 1503 and 1506.
The subject's expression, which is frequently described as enigmatic(神秘莫测), the monumentality(丰碑) of the composition(作品) and the illusionism(幻觉艺术) are qualities that have contributed to the continuing charm and study of the work.

Qi Baishi is one of the most well-known comtemporary Chinese painters. The subjects of his works include almost everything, commonly animals, scenery, figures and vegetables.
His artworks reflect a diversity of interests and experience, generally focusing on the smaller things of the world rather than the large subjects. Shrimps, crabs, frogs and insects are his favorite subjects.
Using heavy ink, bright colors and vigorous strokes, he creates works of a fresh and lively manner that expresses his love of the nature and the life.
