Ladies and gentlemen, good morning. I'm the No .It's my honor to have this opportunity to introduce my lesson to you.I am ready, May I start
Today, my topic is Unit 2 She didn’t have a television(扭头扳书).I will introduce my teaching plan from the following six perspectives:
Firstly, I will analyze the teaching material.The theme of this unit is man and society; The teaching content of this module is to talk about changes in life.
What:In Unit 2, look,listen and say show the changes of a tadpole into a frog, the second part is a letter from Lingling to Daming.Lingling tells the content of the TV program about the past life in China.
Why:Get to know the life many years ago in China and feel the happiness of life now,cherish the beautiful life and work hard for the country.
How: The key vocabulary is field,fire,could and the past forms of “talk,cook...”,the key sentences is the Positive and negative sentences in the simple past tense.
Second, I will do the analysis of students.Students in Grade Five have a certain English foundation and the ability to use English.They can respond to the teacher's instructions and play roles in real situations.They have learned the past simple tense before, and some of them get to know the past life in some degrees.
The third part is about teaching objectives.
Through this course, students will be able to:
1.In the situation of pictures, word cards and videos,understand and learn to use the new words fire, radio,telephone, field,or and the sentence patterns:She didn't have... \She worked in the field.\She cooked on a fire.
2.Through knowledge development and communication, Sort and summarize the life many years ago in China, try to retell the events in past life. (Application practice)
3.Think about the daily life, describe and reflect the differences between life then and life now.Cherish the happy life and work hard for motherland. (Migration innovation).
The fourth part is about the key and difficult points. The key point is that Ss can master the skilled words and functional sentences. The difficult point is that students can talk about people's past lives.
Now, let's move to the teaching procedure. The lesson is designed under the guidance of the new English curriculum standard, which proposed to develop Students’ core competence.
Step1. Warming up
After greeting with Ss, I’ll show a video about “change”-The trees were small, but now they are big;The frog didn't have any legs then, but now he has got strong legs and can jump far.The children were weak, but now they're strong.Everything is changing,our country China is changing all the time.
Here I will introduce my evaluative cards, they’re pictures of some modern things that we use in our daily life.It can push my students be energetic and concentrate in my class.It also can help the students to learn more English.
Step2. Presentation
There are four activities in this step.
Activity 1:Show the picture of Page 2,revise Lingling and Amy watched a programme about China. An old lady says: life was different in China many years ago.
Then show the picture of Page 5. Ask " what's Lingling doing " "Who is she writing to "
Activity 2.Listen to the letter and choose what she’s writing.

Activity 3.Teacher and students talk about the life many years ago in China. Ask:What was the life like many years ago
Check the answers with the help of pictures and videos.learn in the fields, on a fire.
Check the answers she didn' t have a television or a radio, she didn't have a telephone,understand the usage of "or", and let the students think about What else didn' t she have then
Check the answer she couldn't read or write. Guide the students think about: what does the sentence mean she didn't go to school. She couldn't learn...
Activity 4.let the students use one sentence to describe the life many years ago.
Step3. Practice
I will let my Ss listen to the tape again,read after the tape.Then the students practise reading in groups and help each other.
Then let them try to retell the letter according to the mind map.
Step4.Production
Let the students think about the daily life and try to complete the mind map of life now and share with classmates.
Step5.Summary
I will make a short summary with all the students and guide them cherish the happy life and try to work hard for our motherland.
Homework
Must do:Read the text and remember the important words and sentences.
Choose to do: Make a survey with father or mother and write a text about father or mother’s life twenty years ago.
