Danny: (He starts to cry.) I regret eating so, many donuts now.
My stomach has never hurt this much before.
Mr. Dinosaur: (He sits up and feels Danny's head.) You've
got a high fever，son. You look pale. You are sick, aren't you We should go to the hospital.
Danny: Need we go there right now
Mr. Dinosaur：Yes，we must.
Mrs. Dinosaur：Don't cry, dear. You'll be all right.
Danny's father gets dressed quickly. He and Danny get into the car, and they drive to the hospital. Soon they arrive.
Nurse Sara: Hi Danny. I'm Nurse Sara. Don't worry. The
doctor will see you soon.
She takes them to a small examination room. Soon, a doctor arrives.
Dr. Ling: Hi! I'm Dr. Ling. How are you feeling, Danny
Danny: (He points to the right side of his stomach.) I've
got a pain here.
The doctor feels Danny's stomach. Danny starts to cry again.
Dr. Ling: Pardon me, Danny. I know it hurts.
Mr. Dinosaur: He also has a fever.
Dr. Ling: Danny needs to stay in the hospital tonight. We
may need to take an X- ray.
Mr. Dinosaur: (He takes Danny's hand.) It's going to be OK,
son. I'll stay with you.

wake up 叫醒
Point 1
①当wake up 和名词连用时，结构为“wake sb. up”
或“wake up sb. ” , “ wake＋代词 宾格＋ up”。
eg：He is still sleeping. Let me wake him up.
他还在睡觉。让我把他叫醒。
温馨提示：代词必须放在wake和up之间。
②wake up还表示(自行)醒来，睡醒。
eg：He was too tired. He woke up at 10：00 this morning.
他太累了。今天上午他10点钟才睡醒。

feel 此处用作系动词，意为“感觉；觉得”，后跟形容词作表语。
eg： Do you feel hungry 你觉得饿吗？
Feel the wool—it’s really soft.摸摸这羊毛—它真柔软。
拓展：feeling 名词,“ 感觉; 情感”。
eg： I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.
我不是故意伤害你的感情。
well adj. 健康的

well 此处用作形容词，意为“健康的”，一般置于系动词之后，不能用作定语。
eg：—How are you today 你今天怎么样？
—Very well, thanks. 非常好，谢谢。
拓展：well 用作副词时意为“好地”，用来修饰动词，表示程度。
eg： Everything goes well. 一切顺利。
regret/r ɡret/ v. & n. 惋惜；懊悔；遗憾

regret的过去式双写 t之后加 ed，即regretted，过去分词与过去式相同，现在分词为regretting。
eg： She immediately regretted her decision.
她立即对她的决定感到后悔了。
辨析regret to do sth. 与regret doing sth.

I deeply regret telling such a lie to her.
