教学设计(第1课时)
一、教学目标
知识目标
系统复习和巩固本模块有关英语学习建议的重点词汇、短语和句型。
熟练掌握并准确运用 should/shouldn't,why don't you... ,it's a good idea to... 等结构来表达建议和想法。

能够在真实的情境中灵活运用所学语言知识,为他人提供有效的英语学习建议。

四、教学过程
Step 1: Warming up (5 minutes)
Greet the students warmly and have a friendly chat about their recent English learning experiences.
Play a short and funny video related to English learning difficulties or funny moments. After the video, ask students to share their thoughts and feelings about it.
Step 2: Language presentation (5 minutes)
Project some key sentences from the previous units on the PPT, such as "You should practice speaking English every day." and "Why don't you join an English club "
Guide students to analyze the structures and functions of these sentences. Explain the usage of modal verb "should", the phrase "why don't you" and other language points in detail.
Provide several more examples to illustrate the usage and ask students to imitate and make their own sentences.
Step 3: Practice (15 minutes)
Have students open their textbooks and complete the exercises on page 6. For example, filling in the blanks with the correct words or phrases, rewriting sentences using the given structures.
Encourage students to work in pairs. They can discuss and compare their answers, helping each other to solve any problems or doubts.
Invite several pairs to come to the front and present their answers on the blackboard. The rest of the class can correct and comment together.
Step 4: Production (10 minutes)
Present some real-life situations on the PPT, such as: Your friend is afraid of speaking English in public. What suggestions can you give Or: You want to improve your English writing skills. What should you do
Ask students to work in pairs or small groups to have a discussion and give suggestions based on the situations. Remind them to use the language structures they have just learned.
Walk around the classroom, listening to students' discussions and providing necessary guidance and support.
Step 5: Summary (4 minutes)
Review the main language points covered in this lesson, emphasizing the correct usage and common mistakes.
Summarize the key suggestions and expressions given by students in the production activity.
Assign homework: Write a short diary about your progress in English learning and the suggestions you plan to follow.

四、教学过程
Step 1: Revision (5 minutes)
Select some students to share their homework diaries. Encourage other students to ask questions and give comments.
Review the key language points from the previous lesson through quick oral questions or a short dictation.
Step 2: Group work (10 minutes)
Divide the class into groups of four. Provide each group with a different topic related to English learning, such as "How to improve English listening skills" or "Strategies for remembering new words".
Each group member is required to contribute at least one suggestion. The group should then organize and summarize their ideas.
Give each group a sheet of paper to write down their suggestions and prepare for the presentation.
Step 3: Presentation (7 minutes)
Invite each group to send a representative to present their suggestions to the whole class. The representative should speak loudly and clearly, and try to explain the ideas comprehensively.
After each presentation, open the floor for questions and additional suggestions from other groups. Encourage a lively interaction and exchange of ideas.
Step 4: Reading and writing (10 minutes)
Distribute a reading passage about successful English learning experiences or effective learning methods. Ask students to read it silently within a certain time limit.
After reading, ask students to answer some comprehension questions to check their understanding of the passage.
Based on the reading passage, ask students to write a short summary or express their own opinions and reflections in about 80 words.
Step 5: Conclusion and reflection (4 minutes)
Conclude the main content and important language points of this unit. Highlight the progress and achievements of students in language learning.
Reflect on the teaching process and students' performance. Consider what worked well and what needs improvement for future teaching. Encourage students to also reflect on their own learning process and set goals for future improvement.
