Learn the following words by yourselves within 3 minutes, and then read and write them.

Ask some students to write the words on the blackboard, read them and tell the other students the meanings of them. Get the students finish slides6-8.

Ask the following questions:

Ask the students to listen to the text twice, then complete Let’s Do It! No.2. Then check the answers as a class.

Students read the text ,then answer the following questions

3.What does Jenny think of Brian’s painting
4. What is jenny at art this year
Step 7. Read and discuss
Ask the students to sit together in small groups, then discuss the language points in the text.

(2)I hope so或I hope not. 用于简略回答

3.What time is it 表示“几点了”之意。同义句为:What’s the time

“have/has +p.p.”为现在完成时态,表示过去的动作对现在造成了影响。意为“已经…”

Ask the students to mark the difficult and important points while reading the E-mail silently.Discuss the points in groups ,then read the E-mail loudly together .
Step 4.Listen
Listen to the text and correct your own pronunciation and then ask the students to read the text with a partner. Be prepared to share the E-mail with the rest of the class.

the best way to do sth.= the best way of doing sth. 意为“干……的最好方法”
e.g. The best way to learn English is practicing it every day .

(1)help sb. with…= help sb. do…意为“帮助某人干….”
(2) has helped 是完成时态,表示“已经帮了……”
e.g. She has finished the work .

Which one is the most intresting
the most intresting 为intresting的最高级形式,在句中作表语。
多音节形容词的比较级和最高级的构成是在词加more 或most
最高级用于三或三者以上的比较。形容词最高级前要加the

与think 优相同用法的词还有hope ,belive ,afraid ,say ,do等。
