1.我们常使用一般现在时描述客观事实、目前的事实和现在的状态。

2.谓语动词为be的一般现在时,be 动词后不再有其它行为动词。
“ be ”动词的一般现在时形式有三种:am, is , are。主语可以是人称代词,也可以是名词,动词be的选择要与主语相一致。
be动词用法口诀:“我(I)”用am ,“你(you)”用are, “is用于“他(he)”、“她(she)”、“它(it)”
复数人称都用“are”。
3.动词be一般现在时的一般疑问句,否定句
肯定句 I am… He/she/it is… We/you/they are…
否定句 I am not… He/she it isn’t…We/you/they aren’t…
疑问句 Are you/we/they…… Is he/she/it……
4.如果主语是代词,动词be与前面主语在一起时,在非正式行文中可以缩写
I’m = I am you’re/we’re/they’re = you/ we/ they are
he’s/she’s/ it’s = he/ she/ it is isn’t = is not aren’t = are not
