Explain and teach some everyday English

Step 2 Presentation
1.Prepare some pictures with people of different ages and sexes. Show the Ss three pictures with their family names below, they are: a Chinese man , a young Chinese girl and an old lady . Ask several students to greet them by saying “Hello , Mr, Miss or Mrs ---- ” so that “ Mr, Miss and Mrs ” are introduced.
2. More pictures with their full names below can be presented .
Let the Ss learn to greet them . For example , this man’s name is
Rober White . You can greet him by saying “Hello , Mr White ”.
Step 3 Greeting each other
1.Let the students read the dialogues by themselves . And we
can ask the Ss to judge when the dialogues happen.
2.Ask the Ss to read the dialogues once again . Then show the
pictures of the people in the dialogue and ask the Ss to ask
questions according to them like “What’s her/his name? ”
( Mrs Wang / Mrs Li /Millie)
3.Group the Ss into three and ask them to read the dialogues
and act them out .

这一段内容不仅要求学生按照表格所给的内容填写好,还要让学生理解并熟识整段内容,可以采用整体教学方法教学这段内容,教师可在黑板上列出四个新朋友的名字,
然后在黑板上分别写出描述四个朋友特征的关键词.
