本单元与七年级Unit8 Where is the post office?问路主题单元有密切联系或者是其延伸拓展。本节课是一节阅读课，本部分在前面学习的基础上，进一步强化介绍礼貌语言结构和不同场合得体语言的使用，文化及策略层面，明确提出语言使用的得体性和文化知识密切相关。

1, 学生的知识经验：学生在初中已经学了2年多的英语，学生通过学习本单元的section A及 sectionB （1a-1e),已经基本会用含特殊疑问句的宾语从句来进行礼貌询问信息, 在以前的教学过程中，我有时也给学生们渗透了英语国家语言礼貌意识很深。
2，学生的技能态度：经过2年的英语学习，学生们有了一定的阅读基础和技能，但由于初三的文章相对初二又长了许多，句式也复杂一些，在加上一些生词，所以学生们在文章的细节理解上可能比较困难。
3，学生的特点风格：初三的学生相对初一初二的学生更加沉稳，我班尤其明显，积极回答问题的不多，而且人数较多64个学生，后进生的覆盖面也越来越大。Part 3Teaching methods and learning methods 1，Teaching methods

Part 7 Prediction before the class由于中西方文化的差异，了解语言运用的礼貌性，引导学生得体地运用所学语言进行交际，绝非易事，有很一部分学生也许还是不能很好掌握，所以光靠这一节课远远不够，这还需要我努力提高自身的外语素养，不断学习，充实自己，从而逐渐引导学生养成英语思维，引导他们热爱英语。Hi! Where is the restroom?Sorry.
