Step2. Fast reading: What is the passage mainly about What are the traditional art forms mentioned here Skim the passage and find the answers . 快速浏览全文,抓住主旨大意。先呈现第一个问题,以免学生从第二个问题中得到大意关键词。
Step3. Work out the structure: General to specific Why doesn’t the writer use “Traditional Art”as the title 1.Work out the structure. 2.Discuss the title 画出文本的结构图,掌握总分这一布局特点。 深入思考、对比标题,解读其深意,引起下面的学习欲望。
Step4. Understand the title and analyse Para.1: What does the writer refer to by “common things” Objects of beauty(traditional art): Beauty outside. What’s the beauty inside Understand the title, and get to catch the beauty outside and inside the traditional art. 通过标题解读,抓到传统艺术的外在美和内在美两个层面。

Step8. Homework Level 1. Try to tell more people about sky lanterns, paper cutting and Chinese clay art. You can design posters or use social medias(社交媒体) and so on. Level 2.
