一、教学目标

完成各种形式的语言练习,提高语言运用能力。

四、教学过程
Step 1: Revision (6 minutes)
Word Puzzle Game:
Present a crossword puzzle on the PPT related to the key words of this module.
Dictation Relay: Divide the class into several teams. Do a dictation relay.
Quick Recall:
Show some pictures of natural landscapes and world wonders in a rapid sequence. Ask students to name them and describe some features using the key words and phrases they have learned.
Step 2: Grammar Focus (6 minutes)
the usage of tenses when describing natural landscapes and world wonders, and the comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives. Use examples from the text and additional sentences to illustrate.
Grammar Exercises:
Distribute grammar worksheets or display exercises on the PPT. Students work individually to complete them. Then, go through the answers together, explaining the reasoning behind each answer and addressing common mistakes.
Error Correction:
Present some sentences with grammar mistakes related to the module's grammar points. Ask students to identify and correct the errors.
Step 3: speaking Practice (10 minutes)
Picture Description Pair Work:
Show a series of pictures of different natural landscapes and world wonders, each with some key information provided. Students work in pairs. One student describes the picture based on the information and their own imagination, while the other listens and asks questions or makes comments. Then they switch roles.
Group Discussion and Presentation:

Role-play:
Set up a scene where students are tourists visiting a natural landscape. They have to introduce the place to their companions using the language they have learned, as if they were giving a guided tour.

Writing Prompt and Brainstorming:
Present a writing prompt. Ask students to brainstorm ideas, list the key points they want to include, and organize the structure of their composition.
Draft Writing:
Students start writing their compositions.
