Procedure
Step 1. Revision 1. Fill in the blanks 2. Choice questions Step 2.Check the preview 1. Translate Chinese into English about the new words then read together 2. Do some exercises to consolidate the new words Step 3.Lead-in Present some pictures about different rooms,ask the student to speak out the names of these rooms,then read them together 1 Step 4. Reading 1. Listen and answer 1) What is the name of each child 2) Which country are the three children from 2. Fast-reading Read the passages quickly and do some exercises about “T or F” 3.Intensive-reading 1) Read passage1 carefully and answer two questions 2) Read passage2 carefully and fill in the blanks 3) Read passage3 carefully and tell T or F 4.Read the passages after the teacher loudly 5.Read the three passage again and complete B1,B2 on P9, check the answers together. Step 5. Task 1. Work in pairs according three questions on the screen and then write “My home” in your notebook 2. Ask some students to show their passages 3. Read a model passage on the PPT together Step 6. Homework Remember the new words in this lesson. 2. Try to retell the text.
