单元主题 意义 本单元主题为Classmates (同班同学们)。本单元的功能话题是谈论同学的性格特征等,这是一个贴近学生校园生活的话题,内容有趣不陌生,能够吸引学生的兴趣,也是日常对话的话题之一。在相互谈论各自不同的性格特征时,操练本单元的功能句型和词汇,培养学生灵活运用所学语言的能力。从内容上主要是围绕体貌特征及性格特点为话题展开的。同时通过谈论话题懂得欣赏他人的优点。
教学内容分析 1.来源&内容: 本单元来自人教版(新起点)五年级上册第一个单元,本单元的话题Classmates.本单元的主情境图为Lily和Bill谈论朋友们的性格特点,呈现了重点句型: What's your friend like 及其答语:He/She is … 本单元还设置了辅音连缀bl, pl,cl,gl, fl和sl的发音规律的环节,并能够根据发音规律听音写出相应的单词。基于对教材的理解和对学生的学情分析,从单元整体教学思想的角度,从语义理解、语用功能的实现以及情感的推进来设计教学内容和过程。 2. 纵向知识关联: 功能:表达,介绍。 话题:性格,外貌。 语言知识: 2AUnit 3 My friend—What does he/she look like —He/She is tall/ short …
3. 横向知识关联: 在二年级上册,学生已经学过关于询问人物外貌特征的句型及答语,能够用简单的句子讨论有关的内容。因此教师要帮助学生将所学知识进行温故知新的指导,使得学生能结合本单元的内容来进行语言运用,提高思维和表达的能力。 4. 单元探究设计:
学情分析 1.年龄特征: 本单元的教授对象为五年级的学生,他们聪明活泼、勤奋好学,英语基础较好,他们对英语感到好奇,而且都有着十分浓厚的兴趣。经过两年多的英语学习,学生已经逐渐形成了良好的英语语感,能进行简单的英语表达,喜欢歌谣和对话表演,大部分学生具备初步阅读并获取关键信息的能力。 2.知识储备: 他们已经掌握了一些关于外貌特征的形容词及句型,本单元继续对人物性格特点为话题来展开,对学生来说既有趣又简单。
3.能力水平: 五年级的学生已具备能够正确听说的能力,模仿能力也相对低年级来说有水平有所提高。
单元目标 在本单元教学结束之际,学生能: 1. 能听、说、读、写核心词汇clever, careless, polite, quiet, cute, friendly, helpful, active, popular, talk, party, all, but, sometimes, forget, with. 2. 能在语境中学习句型What's your friend like 及其答语:He/She is … 3. 能在语境中运用合适的句型和同伴进行对话练习。 4. 能读懂故事Story time,并能复述和表演故事情节。 5. 能够借助熟悉的旧单词和图片感知辅音连缀bl, pl, cl, gl, fl和sl的发音规律,并利用该规律拼出新单词的读音,进而尝试记住其写法。
第五课时教学设计
一、教学目标
通过本课学习,学生能够:
1. 能够借助图片读懂有关喜剧演员卓别林的小故事,并模仿范例进行小制作。
2. 学唱与本单元话题相关的歌曲。
3. 在比赛活动中,复习本单元重点句型和词汇。能正确熟练使用句型进行对话练习,完成各项游戏比赛。(学习理解)
4. 在听、读、写的活动中,获取和梳理信息,并熟练使的核心语言进行对话练习,并会对其中的语言、行为以及同伴的表现进行多角度评价;(应用实践)
5. 在小组内进行真实语境的创设,能向同学进行正确的提问,并能流利得进行回答,形成积极的学习态度。(迁移创新)

Let’s play. 该项比赛是第一项,“我爱打地鼠”,每组轮流读单词。 读对者,该小组加分。 教师注意随时发现问题并解决问题。 2.
