Step 1 Warming-up1. Ask students to compare he/she with his/her deskmates. 2.Show some pictures and let students compare the things. 3.Show some adjectives or adverbs and let students add -er/-r /-ier /more to them. [Purpose] To lead in the topic Step 2 Presentation 1.Lead students to circle the comparative forms of adjectives and adverbs and observe the rules. 2. Show the rules to students. 形容词或副词比较级的构成: ①一般在词尾+er ②以不发音的字母e结尾+r③重读闭高节词沟尾只有一个辅音字母时,双写辅音字母再加er④以辅音字母+y结尾,y-i+er ⑤多音节词和部分双方节词前加 more 3.
