Many parents like twins(双胞胎)a lot. For many years, people think that twins have a secret(秘密的) language. A lot of parents of twins say that their children have a secret way of talking to each other by using some words they don't understand.“The twin language” was very special in people's minds for a long time. However, a study shows that twins hardly have secret languages. So why do people think that
When babies are learning to speak, they often make sounds and their parents don't understand them. For example, a child may call a bottle“baba”. Since twins are learning the language at the same time, they often make the same mistakes. So, if one of the twins calls a bottle“baba”, the other possibly starts to do the same. Soon, the twins are using the same incorrect word. Parents may think of this as a secret language. In fact, the twins are learning new words like any other child.
A study shows that true secret languages don't happen very often. They happen because babies spend a lot of time alone and don't have many people talking around them.
Some studies show that it often takes longer for twins to begin speaking than for non-twin children. This could b é because parents of twins can be busier than parents with just one baby.So they don't have much time to spend with their twin babies. Because twins understand each other's language mistakes, it may take them longer to learn words right.
As twins get older, like many non-twin children, they may make secret words for things they don't want their parents to understand!

When your children become a teenager, you might find it harder to talk with them about something. “They don't want to follow your advice. They believe they know how to live their life and they're busy with self-development(自我提高),”said Liz Morrison.
Although your relationship with your teenagers may change,it can still be strong. But what can you do to make your relationship with your teenagers strong The following ways may help.
Remember your past self
It's important to remember the feelings you experienced as a teenager. If you can feel the same way as your children do, you will be more patient(耐心的), so you won't get bored easily or shout at them, and you can understand your children better.

Talk to your teenagers about your problems, and ask for their ideas. By doing so, you can tell them that it's OK to feel worried and upset, and that it's a natural part of growing up.Sometimes, they can give you a wonderful answer that you may not think of.
Find things to do together
Don't sit or talk face to face because that may make them bored and nervous. Doing something interesting together will help them better show their feelings. These things can be easy, such as walking or riding bikes. You might also read a story together and then talk about it.

Do you ever find yourself in a situation where your two friends are in a fight, and you have nothing to do with it You are caught in the middle, feeling like you can only choose between the two. Choosing one friend can make the other feel sad.
If both friends spend time talking about their problems, they can understand each other, and that's what I did when I was in this situation. Here is some helpful advice.
Let them cool off. Giving each friend some time and space is the most important. Talking to them when they're really angry could make things worse, so it's useful to let them calm down(平静下来).
Let them talk to you. Hearing both sides of the fight will help you better understand the situation. And this shows that you're being a good friend, taking time to listen, and showing that you care a lot.
Keep your neutrality(中立状态). If they still refuse to work things out, it's okay. You can't always fix their problems.
