教学重难点 重点:1. 能读懂Read and write中的四组句子并与图中的人物正确匹配。 2. 能够按意群和正确的语音语调朗读Read and write中的四组句子。 3. 会用He is…和He has…来描述人物的性格和外貌特点。 难点:1. 能将Read and write中的句子补充完整。 2. 能区别句型: He is+形容词.He has+人物特征.
教学准备 课件、相关音频视频和实物教具(闪卡物品等)。
教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up & Revision & Lead-in 1. 寒暄 T: Good morning/ afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning/ afternoon, Mr/ Miss/ Mrs… T: How are you today Ss: … 2. 复习 (1) 畅所欲言 T: Who is tall and strong in our class Ss: … T: Who has brown shoes in our class Ss: … … (2) 填空 在PPT上呈现这个单元的单词。让学生按要求完成练习。 Step 2 Presentation Teach “Read and write”. 1. 游戏: 猜猜我的好朋友是谁 教师让学生用一段完整的话介绍自己好朋友的性格、外貌及穿着等,请其他学生猜是谁。 2. 教师拿出Ben,James,Ann,Kate 四个人的图片,告诉学生说: I have four friends. The first one is a boy. He has short hair. He has a green bag. What is his name 学生观察四个人物之后,回答: His name is James. 3. 教师让学生打开课本,认真阅读其余三组句子,完成人物配对活动。学生完成配对活动后,朗读四组句子。 Teach“Story time”. 4. 教师拿出事先准备的玩具萝卜(或卡片),提问: It's a turnip. Is it big or small What colour is it 教师在黑板上画一个巨大的萝卜,一半埋在土里,引导学生说出: Wow! It's so big!教师边做拔萝卜的动作,边说: It's too big. I can't pull it up.用手势让学生明白pull it up的意思。以此方式呈现整个故事。让学生听录音,并通过教师的手势及肢体语言理解故事大意。 Step 3 Practice 1. 学生自由读故事。 T:Read the story freely, please. (教师巡视,帮助学生解决读中的问题) 2. 小组合作,表演故事。 T: Now, let’s act the story out. We’ll find the best group. 3. 出示Read and match中的照片,谈论图片。 T: Zoom is strong. Look at these boys and girls. Are they strong Read the sentences. Who are they Read and match. T: Show me your answer, please. He has short hair. He has a big green bag. What is his name Yes, His name is James. She has long hair. She has orange shoes. What is her name Yes, Her name is Ann. She is tall. She is friendly. She has a blue hat. Who is she Yes, She is Kate. He is short and thin. He has glasses. He is near the window. Who is he Yes, he is Ben. 3. 完成Look and match. 先出示图片,请学生描述图片中人物的特征,然后再让其与相应的短语进行匹配。 T:Look at this girl. What’s she like Can you talk about her She has short black hair. 四、教学反思
本课时的趣味故事复习、巩固了本单元所学语言。但不足之处是:因为时间关系,未能提供另一篇相关话题的阅读。 教师应该注重培养学生的阅读能力,这需要一点点地积累。因此,在平时教师可以选一些有趣的小文章和学生分享。
