There are many traditional festivals in China. Among them, I like the Mid-autumn Festival best. It is celebrated on August15th according to Chinese lunar calendar.
It’s a time for family members to get together. We Chinese return home to have a big dinner no matter how far we are from our homes. A popular activity during the festival is to admire the beauty of the full moon at night. And the best part of the festival is to share the delicious mooncakes. They are round and carry people’s wishes to the families they love and miss. What a meaningful festival!
