在澳大利亚悉尼的杰克逊海港,有一座号称世界第一单孔拱桥的宏伟大桥,这就是著名的悉尼海港大桥。悉尼海港大桥是早期悉尼的代表建筑,它像一道横贯海湾的长虹,巍峨俊秀,气势磅礴,与举世闻名的悉尼歌剧院隔海相望,成为悉尼的象征。

白宫是一幢白色的新古典风格砂岩建筑物,位于华盛顿哥伦比亚特区西北宾夕法尼亚大道1600号。因为白宫是美国总统的居住和办公的地点,“白宫”一词常代指美国政府,譬如:“白宫宣布,中国国家主席访问白宫”。

埃菲尔铁塔高300米,天线高24米,总高324米,塔身总重量7000吨。塔分三楼,分别在离地面57.6米、115.7米和276.1米处,其中一、二楼设有餐厅,第三楼建有观景台,从塔座到塔顶共有1711级阶梯。
