1.It's hard sometimes to talk about the future.
“It's+adj.+ to do sth.”表示“做某事是……的”, 在此句型中, It为形式主语, 真正的主语是后面的不定式短语 to do sth.。常见句型结构还有:“It's+adj.+(not)to do sth.”和“It's+adj.+ for sb.(not)to do sth.”。
It's important to get to school on time every day.
每天按时到校很重要。
It's difficult for us to win the match.
对于我们来说, 打赢这场比赛很困难。
2.You are good at talking to people.
talk to和talk with 都表示“和……谈话”, 只是talk to 侧重于一方说, 另一方听, talk with 侧重双方交谈。
Our head teacher is talking to my parents.
我们的班主任正在和我的父母谈话。
Look!She is talking with her good friend.
看!她正在和她的好朋友交谈。
【拓展】 talk about 意为“谈论”。

3.I would be nice to my students.I wouldn't give them too much homework on weekends!
(1)would 是 will 的过去式, 可用于过去将来时, 但在这里是情态动词, 意为“将要, 想要”, 表示意愿, 后面加动词原形。
He would eat nothing.
他不愿吃东西。
(2)be nice to sb.相当于 be good/kind to sb., 意思是“对某人好”。
You have been good/nice/kind to me.
你一直对我都很好。
(3)too much意为“太多的”, 常用来修饰不可数名词。too many 也表示“太多的”, 常用来修饰可数名词的复数形式。much too 意为“太”, 常用来修饰形容词或副词。
There is too much food in the fridge.
冰箱里食物太多了。
4.You might be a scientist when you grow up.
(1)might 是情态动词, 也是may的过去式, 表示推测时, 可能性比 may 小, 表示说话人对这件事不确定, 没有把握的态度。
He might come this evening, but I'm not sure.
他今晚可能会来, 但是我不确信。
(2)grow up意为“长大”。
I haven't seen you for years;you have grown into a man.
几年不见你, 你都长成大人了。

ill vs. sick
辨析
(1)ill 指“生病”, 可作表语, 一般不作定语。ill 如果作定语, 则意为“坏的;有害的”。
His mother is ill.
他的妈妈生病了。
(2)sick 意为“生病的”, 既可以作定语, 也可以作表语。
There is a sick baby in the room.
在房间里有一个生病的婴儿。(sick作定语)
Li Ming has been sick for two weeks.
李明病了两周了。(sick作表语)
当sick 意为 “恶心的;想吐的”时, 用作表语或补足语。
The smell made him sick.
这种气味使他恶心。
