Hello Danny,
In school, we are talking about our ambitions and dreams. Some of us have no idea, but others have very clear goals.
Some students want to be fishermen, some want to be policemen or policewo men, and some want to be artists. There are so many good choices. It's hard to choose just one. The main thing is to know yourself and to choose the right path for you.
What will I be when I grow up I hope to be a good teacher like Ms. Liu. She is strict but nice. She encourages us to work hard, but she never punishes us. Her classes are fun!

1.Some of us have no idea, but others have very clear goals.
some…others…意为“一些……另一些……”。some 和 others表示泛指, 对范围和数量都没有具体限定。
There are so many people in the park.Some are walking;others are exercising.

2.There are so many good choices.
(1)so many意为“如此多的”, 修饰可数名词复数;so much意为“如此多的”, 修饰不可数名词。
There is so much food in the refrigerator.
在冰箱里有如此多的食物。
(2)choice为名词, 意为“选择”。make a choice意为“做选择”;have no choice意为“别无选择”。
You have no choice but to do it again.
你别无选择, 只有再做一次。

(1)to know yourself和to choose the right path是两个不定式短语, 作表语, 表示主语的内容。
(2)know oneself意为“认识自己;认清自己;了解自己”, oneself是反身代词, 在句中要与句子的主语保持一致。

strict是形容词, 表示“严格的, 严厉的”, 常用结构有be strict with sb.(对某人要求严格), be strict in sth.(对某事要求严格)。
