(二)Vocabulary Learning
1. Present the new words and phrases through pictures, examples and actions.
2. Let students follow and imitate to practice pronunciation.
3. Do some simple vocabulary exercises.
(三)Grammar Explanation
1. Guide students to find the sentences using the Simple Past Tense and the Simple Present Tense in the text.
2. Explain the formation and usage of the two tenses, and make a comparative analysis through examples.
(四)Text Comprehension
1. Ask students to read the text quickly and answer some simple questions:
Who is the passage about What sport did she play
Ask them to read the text again and complete some tasks for detailed understanding.
Divide students into groups to discuss the text. Encourage them to retell it in their own words.
(五)Dialogue Practice
