什么是数词?
表示事物数量的多少或先后顺序的词。
数词分为基数词和序数词两类。
基数词:表示数量多少的词,如:one, two, three等。
序数词:表示数目顺序的词,如:first, second, third等。

构成方式
【5】百位数:个数基数词形式加“ hundred”,表示几百,在几十几与百位间加上and,英式英语要加and,美式英语则不用。

【6】千位数以上:从数字的右端向左端数起,每三位数加一个逗号“,”。从右开始,第一个“,”前的数字后添加 thousand,第二个“,”前面的数字后添加 million,第三个“,”前的数字后添加 billion。然后一节一节分别表示,两个逗号之间最大的数为百位数形式。

注:hundred, thousand, million, billion的用法
1)当放在具体的数字后边时,表示具体 的“百、千、百万、十亿”时,不能用复数形式,可以直接修饰名词复数,如: 200: two hundred, two hundred students
2)当表示大概的“几百、几千、几百万、几十亿”时,前边不能用具体的数字或表示不确切时,用“复数形式+of”结构,如:数百学生 hundreds of students

1、基本形式:
1,2,3,特殊记;
8去t,9少e;ve要用f替;
见y变成i和e,后加th莫忘记;
若是遇上几十几,只变个位就可以。

2.序数词
1) 序数词第一、第二和第三为first,second和third,其他序数词的构成是在基数词后加th。例如:
six→sixth seven→seventh ten→tenth four→fourth
2) fifth(第五)、 eighth (第八)、 ninth (第九)和twelfth (第十二)在拼法上有变化。 3) 二十、三十等基数词变为序数词时,要把y变成ie再加-th。例如:
twenty→twentieth forty→fortieth
4) 基数词几十几变成序数词时,表示几十的数词不变,只把表示几的基数词变成序数词。例如:
twenty-one→twenty-first forty-five→forty-fifth
5) 第一百、第一千、第一百万、第十亿都是在基数词后直接加 th构成。例如:
第一百→hundredth 第一千→thousandth 第一百万→millionth 第十亿→billionth 6)序数词的缩略形式是由阿拉伯数字加序数词的最后两个字母构成。例如:

分数由基数词和序数词合成。分子用基数词,分母用序数词。分子是1时,分母(序数词)用单数形式;分子大于1时,分母用复数形式,序数词加-s。读带分数时,先读整数部分,再读分数部分。

构成:①基数词+years old
②in+one's+基数词复数
③at the age of+基数词
Eg:16 years old,in one's fifties,at the age of 5.
表示几十年代,“in the +基数词复数”

四位数年份常分为两组来读;年份前用介词 in;

首字母要大写,月份前用介词 in;

年、月、日连用时常在年份前加逗号,
具体到某天介词用 on。

1.序数词前一般要加定冠词 the。

2.表示“又一,再一”时,序数词前一般要加定冠词 a/an(相当于another)。

3.下列四种情况,序数词前不用冠词:
①序数词前已有物主代词或名词所有格时,不能再用冠词。

②表示比赛或考试的名次时,通常
省略定冠词。

③序数词被用作副词时不用冠词。
I have to finish my homework first.
在某些习语中,不用冠词。
at first 起初;first of all 首先;
at first sight 乍一看。
