效果分析
在本节课中，我用旧知唤醒新知，用谈论学校旅行引出有关周末的活动。导入比较自然也贴合学生的实际情况，学生比较容易回答，也能激发学生的学习兴趣。
本节课真正体现了有效的任务型教学，体现用英语交际的必要，能让学生真正达到学习的目的。
本节课话题贴近学生生活，学生积极性高，积极参与教师所设计的任务活动，任务活动落实有效，学生学习效果比较明显，但有极个别同学发言不够积极，还应加强调动部分学困生的活动积极性。

在本课教学中，通过采用新颖多样的教学手段,创设生动活泼的教学情景,使每个学生都敢于和乐于开口说英语,并为他们提供了说英语的机会。同时学习英语的新思想是创设情景进行学习，我尝试去创设各种与教学相适应的情景去教学，达到较好的效果。从整节课的设计和取得的教学效果看,基本达到了预期的教学目标，学生的表述能力得到了加强。
课标分析：
本单元话题取材于《义务教育英语课程标准》话题项目表4项（日常生活）中的第15条周末活动（过去时）。该话题在初中教材中第一次涉及。本册教材用了3、4、5三个单元三个不同的话题（学校旅行，周末活动和旅游）来阐述一般过去时态，谈论过去发生的事情。在上单元How was your school trip?学生已经接触过一般过去时态，有了一定的认识，从而为本单元的教学打下了基础，上牵下联，便于知识的衔接。
