教材第六单元的Topic 2 How about exploring Tian’anmen Square中的section B是一节听说课， 围绕Michael, Darren, Kangkang 三位主人公游览天安门广场前，中，后的活动来设置文本内容。而Section B 在本单元的文本中起到了一个承前启后的作用。在1a和2的听力输入中介绍了天安门广场的长、宽、面积、主要建筑极其历史等，让主人公在游览前做到心中有数。而在3a中，教材通过一张天安门广场的简略中文地图，帮助学生巩固广场内建筑的英文表达，与此同时培养学生按照方位描述某个景点或地点的能力。不仅如此，整个Section B的内容设计也有利于培养学生热爱祖国大好河山。
