教材:
本节课是第五模块的第一单元,为听说课。本模块以学生感兴趣的“卡通人物”为话题, 听Betty和Tony,Daming和Tony的关于喜爱的卡通的两段段对话,在对话中都分别描述了自己喜爱的卡通人物, 以及喜欢他们的原因。
1.语言知识:
(1) 话题:有关卡通及卡通人物的表述。
(2) 语法:一般过去时、过去进行时和现在完成时。
(3) 词汇:共有9个围绕相关话题的核心词汇。(cartoon handsome smart fight cool hero humorous can’t help doing sth. Make sb. laugh)
2.语言技能:
(1) 听的技能要求:要求学生能听懂与卡通人物相关的对话,并能提取对话中的细节信息。
(2) 说的技能要求:要求学生能够简单谈论自己喜欢的卡通和卡通人物。
研究主题
本节课我的研究主题是:结合话题内容创设语境,运用背景知识,及相关语言知识的铺垫听懂对话,并能够提取有用信息,最后运用所学语言知识谈论自己喜欢的卡通人物。
教学目标
在本节课结束后,学生能够:
在听力中运用背景知识,理解对话内容,并能够提取细节信息,完成听力任务。
在语境中进一步熟练运用话题相关词汇和表达喜好的句式以及一般现在时、过去进行时和现在完成时的用法。
用本节课所学的目标语言谈论自己喜欢的卡通人物。

Designing Purpose
Before class the teacher put some posters on the wall or blackboard. And give students some names cards of cartoons (students will use them in class)
Look at the posters and get to know the words on the card.
Create the related classroom atmosphere and make students be familiar with the topic
Step 1 Warming-up (5 minutes)
let students look at the pictures of and tell the names of the cartoons and characters
Present the task of this lesson
Present the main steps of this lesson
Look at the pictures and share the ideas with classmates and teacher
Listen and get to know
Warm up the background knowledge and arouse the students’ interest.
Let students clear about the lesson’s task
Step 2 Pre-listening (8 minutes)
Let students put their cards on the posters
Ask students some related questions
Let students guess what teacher’s favourite cartoon character
Ask students listen and fill in the table
Match the names with the posters and get to know the names of them
Guess the teacher’s favourite cartoon character
Listen and complete the table
Arouse students’ interest and background knowledge.
Lead in the topic directly and prepare for listening.
Step 3 While-listening(15 minutes)

Step 4 Post-listening(10 minutes)
Let students work in groups and discuss their favourite cartoons or cartoon characters. (including what is your favourite cartoon or cartoon character; why do you like it)
Let students to work in groups to decide which cartoon is the group favourite cartoon and prepare for the last presentation
Teacher presents the rules and then let every group to show their presentation in front of the class, and let students choose their best group.
