Teaching Steps
Step 1 Language practice
Review some important sentences in Unit 1 and Unit 2.

Read through the example sentences in the box with the whole class.

用英语提建议的几种表达:

Notes:
1. Why not ... “为什么不……呢 ”,后接动词原形。此句型是省略了主语的形式,完整句型为“Why don’t +主语(you / we / they ...)+动词原形+其他?” 。
2. What / How about ... “……怎么样?”, 其中about是介词,后接名词或动词-ing形式来表示提建议。
3. Let’s ...是Let’s开头的祈使句,Let’s是Let us的缩略形式, 表示建议对方和自己一起做某事, 后接动词原形。
4. It’s a good idea to ...,to后接动词原形。
5. should 应该,后接动词原形。

四种常用时态
时态 含义 结构 常用时间状语
一般现在时 表示经常发生的动作或存在的状态。 am / is / are 或其他动词的一般现在时形式 usually, always, often, every weekend等
I always go to school by bike. I want to remember all the new words. I don’t think we can do that. Here are three basic questions. The earth goes around the sun.
一般过去时 表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态,也可表示过去经常性的动作。 was / were 或其他动词的过去式形式 yesterday, last year, two days ago等

一般将来时 表示将要发生的动作或存在的状态。 be going to / will+动词原形 tomorrow, next month,in the future等

现在进行时 表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作或发生的事。 am / is / are+动词-ing形式 now, at the moment等

My name is Andrew. I started to learn Chinese after I arrived in China from the US in 2019. I hired (聘请) a private (私人的) Chinese teacher, because I didn’t know what I (1)_______ do to learn it well at first.
