教材分析:Just talk通过真实的语境,引导学生在观察、探索的过程中,逐步理解并习得本课语言知识,能用What’s this in English It’s a/an...等句式交流。Just read。通过真实的图片,激发学生兴趣,使学生在愉悦的学习气氛中,很自然地认读giraffe和camel,四会单词monkey、panda和bear并能在真实的语境中灵活运用。Let’s chant通过歌谣,巩固所学语言知识,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生敏锐的观察力。
学情分析:本案例适合小学四年级学生。四年级的学生接触英语已有一段时间,有一定的积累,对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣,对新的知识充满好奇,喜欢在新鲜、有趣的活动中学习,在教学中,充分抓住学生的这个能力特点,在英语课堂中设计各种贴近生活的语言情景,开展各种适合四年级孩子的游戏活动,积极引导学生主动参与动口、动手、动脑、交流合作的能力,注重学生语言交际能力和思维能力的发展。我也同时欣喜地看到,在英语课堂上,学生积极、活泼,对英语学习积极性高,孩子的多元只能在交际活动中得到了体现与发展。

Step1: Warming-up

【设计意图】课前唱英文歌曲,让学生放松身心,感受到课堂的活泼与轻松的课堂氛围,通过看、唱、的活动缓解学生的紧张情绪,把他们的注意力都注意到本课上来,活跃了课堂,同时也集中了学生的注意力,从而能使他们更全身心的投入到课堂中来。
Step2: Presentation

Show some pictures of animals .ask and answer.

【设计意图】首先以动物园情景图展示使学生对此课的学习内容有个整体了解,为本节课知识点做铺垫,师生间的日常会话交流,培养学生用英语思维,用英语交际的能力。既复习了旧知、活跃了课堂气氛、又拉近了师生之间的距离,更为重要的是后一句衔接了今天的新学内容,让复习与新授衔接自然。
