三、阅读理解(共15小题,每小题2分,满分30分)

Having a collection of stamps is easy and not very expensive. Before you start collecting, you need to decide what kind of stamps you want to get. Most people collect stamps about things that they are interested in: a certain country or a special animal, a famous person or even a popular sport. Whatever you choose, you will find that there is a world of knowledge in stamps: you will learn about people, geography, history, science and culture.
You can collect stamps from letters, ask your friends for their old stamps, or you can buy used stamps. When you get a letter with a stamp on it, you'd better carefully cut out the stamp. Leave lots of space around the stamp so that you will not damage it. Put the stamp in water and wait until you can safely remove the stamp. Carefully remove the stamp from the letter. Place the wet stamp between two clean pieces of paper. A stamp can get wrinkled(褶皱的) when it dries, so put some books on top.
( )26. What does the writer think of collecting stamps
A. Easy but difficult. B. Easy and cheap.
C. Difficult but cheap. D. Difficult and expensive.

Wherever travelers go, cameras are sure to follow. It's great fun to take photos, and even more fun to show slides of the trip to friends and relatives when they come back home.
There's Aunt Sarah, smiling in front of Buckingham Palace; Aunt Sarah, smiling under the Eiffel Tower; and Aunt Sarah, smiling in a Venetian Canal.
Everyone knows what Aunt Sarah looks like; they also know what Europe's great landmarks(显著地面景观) look like.
But a young man named David, just back from a trip to Greece, asked a few friends over to see his slides. The young man had an artist's eye. His pictures were not of familiar Greek architectures. Instead he took pictures of farmers at work in the field, fishermen repairing their nets, and bearded priests(牧师) bending over their Bibles. He captured(抓住) the color and character of the country. His friends were so interested that they asked for more.
Any amateur(外行) can do the same. All he needs is a simple camera and a little sensitivity(灵敏度). When he learns that a nation lives in its people as well as in its landmarks, he moves from an amateur to an artist.

In the next round, Hua gave good performances on stages. He loves rock and music with a feeling of enjoyment. He was moved with tears while singing a song by Leslie Cheung. He danced in a strange way like Lady Gaga. But off stage, he looks quiet and even shy. He thinks before answering every question. He speaks slowly.“ The hardest part of my Super Boy experience is to face the audience, accept people’s attention and learn to do my best,” he said.
After that, Huahua became more and more popular. Since then, he has created many popular songs and has won a number of prizes of singing competitions. He also shows his talent in variety entertainment and wins the hearts of many people in these variety shows.

Taking a photo every day and then sharing it online improve your well- being. That's what scientists found after studying a group of people who joined in the photo-a- day projects.
In the projects, a group of volunteers ranging in age from 20 to 60 were chosen by the scientists. They posted a photo every day on the Internet. Over a two- month period, the scientists recorded the photos taken, texts added to the photos, and how the volunteer felt. After two months, the photographers also gave a phone interview.
What the scientists found was that the act of taking photos and sharing daily photos improves a person's well- being through self- care. It helps the volunteers care more about themselves.
“I have a really busy job. But I said to myself, ‘ No,I will stop to relax. I’ ll take a photo of the insect(昆虫) sitting on my computer or something. ’ Just taking a moment is very helpful,”a volunteer told the scientists.
Looking at the photos gives the volunteers a sense of purpose.“ It encourages me out of the house sometimes when I could just sit on my chair with a cup of tea,” another volunteer said. And on the social side, comments(评论) on the photos keep people connected with their friends and family, and even help some fight loneliness.
Besides, photo-a- day helps volunteers look back on their own life.“ If I'm feeling down, it's nice to look back and see good memories. You know, the photosI' ve taken will bring back lots of good memories,” said one of the volunteers.
Therefore, the scientists find out that photo-a- day is not just a simple practice. It makes people feel happy.
