“ Looking back, what do you regret ” 1 thinking of the topic in the class meeting, I got into deep thought. Here’s 2 I do regret.
In the eighth grade, a new kid joined our class. 3 name was Ellen. She was a girl who was small and shy. She wore the blue cat- eye glasses that, at that time, only old ladies wore. When nervous, she had a habit of 4 some hair into her mouth and biting it. Ellen was such a girl of 5 words that she was mostly out of our sight. Many of us often 6 her. Even some of us played jokes on her a lot. I could see this hurt her. I still remember her 7 which shamed her on her face. She looked down at her feet with a red face, as if, she was looking for something on the ground 8 . She was trying, as much as possible, to disappear.
And then Ellen moved with her family. She left nothing there. Just like that: one day she was there, 9 the next day she wasn't. 10 most of the other kids, I was actually pretty nice to her. But still, it made me get into 11 . I always feel sorry for her and want to meet her again. 12 I regret most in my life are failures of kindness.
To look at it from the other end 13 the telescope(望远镜): who, in your life, do you remember all the time, with the strongest feeling of 14 Those who were the most friendly to you, I bet.
It's always easier 15 than done, but I'd say, as a goal in life, you could try to be kinder.
