Learning aims:
1. To recognize verbs and five basic sentence structures.
2. To become familiar with the verbs and five basic sentence structures.

Learning procedures：
Step 1: Lead-in
Talk about the story of Elsa and use it as a line.
Step 2: Three kinds of verbs
Students talk about winter and learn three kinds of verbs: vi., vt. and linking verb.
Step 3: Three kinds of basic sentence structure :S+V/ S+V+P/ S+V+O
Students describe spring and learn two sentence structures: S+V/ S+V+O.
Students talk about summer and learn the sentence structure: S+V+P.
Students distinguish the three sentence structures by doing the exercises on P85.
Group work: use different sentence structures to describe autumn.
Step 4: Two sentence structures: S+V+IO+DO/ S+V+DO+OC
1. Students learn two sentence structures by talking about Elsa.
2. Students learn how to distinguish the two sentence structures.
3. Exercises: rearrange the words to form a complete sentence.
Step 5: Helping Elsa to fight with the monster
