教学过程
Step 1 Warm up and lead in. 1. Look and say. Look at the pictures, can you talk about them This is Big Ben/Hyde Park/ Tower Bridge. It’s +形容词. 2.lead in There are some jigsaws of other beautiful places. Can you complete and name them Let’s have a look. Teach two meanings of “strong”. Now let’s chant together. Step 2 Task presentation. There are so many beautiful places in China. How to describe them This lesson, we’ll learn it. After that, you can write a postcard to your friend, and introduce the place where you have gone before. Step 3 Text learning. 1.Feel the text and answer the questions. Look, Simon has got postcards of the four places. Do you want to learn more about them Let’s talk about the Huangshan Mountain first. Look and answer: Where is the Huangshan Mountain Where is it It's in Anhui. There are many mountains in China There’s a famous mountain in Anhui. It’s the Huangshan Mountain. 图中是黄山的著名景点——迎客松。 (2)It's the famous Changjiang River. How long is it Let’s have a look. Great! It's more than six thousand kilometres long. The Changjiang River is the longest river in China, and it's also the third longest river in the world. So, you can imagine how long it is! (3)And it's the beautiful West Lake. Children, can you find any similarities from these sentences They all have “There is” or “There are”。 There be 句型表示“(某地)有某人/物。” Look carefully, we can find: There is + 可数名词单数/不可数名词. such as, mountain. There are + 可数名词复数形式. such as, mountains and lakes. 其中,many 很多的,lots of “许多的”,表示复数含义,前面要用are。 3.Look at the two sentences. Please fill in the blanks with the right form of be.
