教学目标
学生通过本节课学习，能达到以下几项目标：

1）听：能听懂对方关于过去生活的描述。

通过练习能用英语描述自己的过去的生活，培养自己对生活的热爱。

Step III: Listen and answer the questions.

【设计意图】本次的课前听力其实是课文内容的一个延伸。介绍了Betty的过去的生活。把书上的对错题改编成问答题，增加难度，练习听力和速记的能力。

【设计意图】第二段录音可以改编的地方较多，可以进行信息转换练习学生听力能力,练习学生关键信息的提取。

含be 动词的一般过去时:
主语是第一人称/第三人称单数名词（代词）时，be 动词为____；
当主语是第二人称或复数名词（代词）时，be 动词为_____。

教学反思：
be动词的过去时态难度并不大，但是，学习在口语练习时转换的还不自如，所以，在本节课的对话环节设计了两处对话的练习，让学生分别练习含有be动词的过去时态的一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的。
