教学目标
通过本节课的学习,你将能够: 1. 获取Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland故事开头的主要情节,并对事情的发生顺序进行准确排序。 2. 合理运用阅读策略,读懂包含过去进行时的童话故事,并懂得如何用过去进行时讲故事和续写故事。 3. 与小组其他成员合作进行角色扮演,提高合作、沟通能力。 4. 与故事中的人物共情,在欣赏故事的同时培养移情能力,感知故事中西方文化的内涵——新奇的追求带来美妙经历。
教学内容
教学重点: 1. 根据动词对故事的发生顺序进行排序,了解故事的主要情节。
2. 运用过去进行时对故事进行自编剧本和续写。 3. 运用阅读技巧,准确定位所需文本信息。
教学难点: 1. 与故事中的人物共情。
2. 通过小组讨论编写剧本或者续写故事。
教学过程
Task 1: Read and make sentences! Read the new words and try to make sentences with them by yourselves. (设计意图:从单词到句子再到篇章,让学生在句子中情境中掌握生词的用法,并且提前帮助学生扫除阅读障碍,减轻阅读负担。最后再通过小游戏巩固所学的新单词,既生动有趣,又能掌握所学单词,符合“在玩中学”,“在活动中学”的理念。) Task 2: Look and say! Look at the picture of the rabbit and tell me: what do you think is strange It was standing on its back legs! It was taking a watch out of its pocket! It was wearing a coat! It was talking! (设计意图:与上节课所学内容关联起来,激发旧知,导入新知,并激发学生的好奇心,使其产生阅读的欲望。采用隐形的教学方式,标红过去进行时的结构,让学生在无意识中和在情境中学习、掌握语法,真正做到了语法为表意服务。) Task 3: Listen and number! Number the events in the order they happened. a) Alice landed on some dry leaves. b) Alice was sitting by the river with her sister. c) Alice fell down a hole. d) A rabbit ran by. e) Alice ran across the field after the rabbit. (设计意图:通过排序让学生了解文章大意,同时注意句子中的动词。) Task 4: Read and choose! Read the story quickly and choose the correct answers. (设计意图:通过找关键词和略读等技巧准确、快速定位所找信息。) Task 5: Read and answer! Read the story carefully and answer five questions. Ask students to underline the sentences in their books. 1. Who was Alice sitting with 2. What colour were the rabbit’s eyes 3. Where was the rabbit’s watch before he took it out 4. What did Alice run across after the rabbit 5. Why didn’t Alice see anything in the deep hole (设计意图:通过画线、找出处等技巧找到所需细节信息,深入理解文本。) Task 6: Retell the story Add some conjunctions to combine the evens. ( at first, next, and then, after that, at last) (设计意图:通过添加连词和补充细节让学生复述课文,既减轻了学生的压力,又能进行读后的输出,通过添加连词让学生更加清楚故事的发展顺序和讲故事的方法。) Evaluate your reading! (设计意图:让学生通过以上四个方面评价自己的阅读,使其更加了解自己本堂课的所得所获,真正实现“教-学-评”一体化。) Enjoy the video! (设计意图:通过观看视频,让学生对故事有更加直观的认识,学会跟故事中的主人公共情,为下面的角色扮演做铺垫。) Write and act! ① Write the script for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland or write what will happen next, and then act the story in class. 4 characters: Narrator, Alice, Alice’s sister and the White Rabbit ② Continue writing for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
