Halloween is a popular festival in North America. It is on October 31.
Do you know how we celebrate it Children have lots of fun on that day. We dress up and wear masks. In the past, people believed that ghosts walked the streets on Halloween night and they felt scared about meeting other ghosts. People wore masks to fool the ghosts into believing that they were other spirits. Nowadays, we dress up as ghosts or black cats. Some little kids dress up as fun things like cartoon characters. We also make pumpkin lanterns. It is wonderful.
