单元主题分析
本单元 本单元主题:“Respect others and accept oneself"。该主题属于“人与自我”“人与社会”的范畴,涉及到的是“生活与学习”，本单元的主题围绕单元子主题“了解不同老师的性格”“ 根据性格特征，广泛结交朋友”“学会尊重他人，不能以貌取人”展开;引导学生学会欣赏他人、尊重他人，树立正确的审美观。念。

学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)五年级上册第一单元，本单元的主题“What's he like”。本次教学面临的是刚刚升入五年级的学生， 在心理特征上，五年级的学生活泼好动、对新话题充满兴趣，喜欢表现自我勇于挑战；在知识上，五年级的学生已有了四年的英语学习基础，已经具备一定的英语学习能力，较好的听、说、读、写英语的习惯已基本养成。他们生性活泼好动，好奇心强，模仿力强，对新事物有着强烈的好奇心，探索知识的欲望很强烈。，能够准确地理解简单的课堂用语，自主学习能力也有了很大的提高。由于学生们在以前的内容中接触过形容词，已经初步掌握了其功能，在此基础上他们更容易进入本单元的学习。
单元整体设计思路

语篇研读（附图）
本节课是阅读对话篇， 本课时的主题意义是通过Wu Binbin首次介绍Robin给大家认识， Robin 有什么特征呢。先通过分解课文， 处理局部的重点句型，让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。让学生进行小组合作操练句型，再回归语篇，解决问题What is Robin like 逐步引导学生在发现问题，了解语言结构的同时，学会尊师爱友。
教学过程

重点 能够熟读talk部分对话和情景表演并能通过游戏和小组活动巩固句型。
