Story by Susan Frame Illustrations by Richard Hoid Rose has lots of books in her bedroom. She reads them all the time. Rose says, “Look! I have 79 books. ” “Reading is fun. But I think, ” says Rose’s dad, “you should go out and play in the sun. ”

So Rose learns to dance. She kicks and kicks some more. Then she gets a book and reads in the dance room. Rose and Dad are in the living room. “Rose, I know the thing, ” says Rose’s dad, “you really like to do... ”
