一、that、if 和 whether 引导的宾语从句
在复合句中作宾语的从句叫宾语从句。引导宾语从句的常见连接词有 that、if、whether、who、what、where、why 和 how 等。本单元主要学习 that、if 和 whether。
1.引导宾语从句的连接词
that that 引导的宾语从句是由 __________ 转化而来的,主句的谓语动词多是 think、believe、guess、know、say、hope 等,在口语或非正式文体中 that 常省略。
whether/if whether/if 引导的宾语从句多是由 ______________ 或选择疑问句转化而来的。通常,whether 与 if 可以互换使用,它们在从句中不可省略。
e.g. I think (that) he is right. 我认为他是对的。
We believe that it is a good way to relax. 我们相信这是一种很好的放松方式。
I wonder whether/if he is a driver. 我想知道他是否是个司机。

2.宾语从句的时态
(1)若主句为一般现在时,从句 ____________________ 时态。

(2)若主句是一般过去时,从句一般要用 ____________ 某种时态。

她不知道汤姆已经去了上海。

当宾语从句所表达的是客观事实或规律时,无论主句是何种时态,宾语从句都要用一般现在时!
e.g. Our teacher told us that light travels faster than sound.

感叹句(Exclamatory Sentences)是用于表达喜怒哀乐等强烈感情的句子,句末常用感叹号。常由what或how引导。

How 引导的感叹句
How + adj. / adv. (+ 主语 + 谓语 )!
