Part 2 按句子的结构分类
1. 简单句
只有一个主语(或并列主语)和一个谓语(或并列谓语)。
一个主语和一个谓语:He often reads English.
同类造句: 我们都参与了这个活动。

并列主语和一个谓语:Tom and Mike are American boys.

2. 并列句
由并列连词(and, but, or等)或分号(;)把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起构成。
You help him and he helps you.
同类造句: 你问了他,而他问了我。

2. 并列句
He is interested in comedy but I can’t stand it.
同类造句: 他喜欢看恐怖片(Thriller),但是我受不了。

3. 复合句 ——definition
由一个主句和一个或一个以上的从句构成的句子。复合句包含:名词性从句(主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句)、定语从句和状语从句等。判断从句的类型,首先需要判断句子是否为主从句结构,然后分析从句在句中属于什么成分,进而得出其是什么类型的从句。组成句子的各个成分主要有:主语(S—Subject)、谓语(Predicate)、表语(P—Predicative)、宾语(Object——DO直宾/IO间宾)、宾语补足语(C—object complement)、定语(A—Attribute)和状语(A—Adverbial)。
3. 复合句 ——definition
The foreign visitors took a lot of pictures when they were at the Great Wall.
He is the one who I want to visit.
If I don’t work hard now, I will never success.
同类造句: 我希望我的建议将对你有用。
