五、教学目标(aims of learning):
知识目标Knowledge aims
能够听、说、读、写science museum,post office,bookstore,cinema,hospital、短语 turn left, turn right, go straight。
能够听、说、认读短语:near 在……附近 next to 与……相邻
能够听、说、认读句型:“Where is the cinema?” “ It’s next to the bookstore.” 并进行关键词的替换操练。
2、技能目标Skill aims:培养学生灵活运用知识的能力
3、情感、态度目标:Emotion, attitude and value aims:能在迷路时主动寻求帮助。
六、教学重难点Key & difficult points:
重点:掌握重点句型“Where is the …?”及回答It’s next to/near the……
难点:准确书写四会单词及短语和掌握单词museum和straight的发音。

(一)导入leading in
Warm-up/Review
歌曲“They Are in the Zoo.'’ 师生齐唱
Oral practice:
用三年级所学文具单词和所学句型where is your pen/ruler/Chinese book….. It’s on/ in/under the…
(二)呈现新知presentation
Let’s learn
Play the tape and listen to new words
让学生先听录音,重复所听到的单词
Teach the new phrases by different ways
出示幻灯学习新单词,并利用教学卡片采用分组学习,进一步操练和巩固单词
Draw some important words or sentences
出示幻灯片并提问where is the bookstore?
并指导学生回答:it’s next to the post office。
Play the tape and get Ss to listen and repeat it phrase by phrase.
利用幻灯指导学生用本课所学单词和句型做替换练习。
分小组、同桌、男生女生进行对话练习,并给予优秀小组和优秀个人奖励。
Make a map and talk
Explain the title
将课前准备好的平面地图呈现给学生,让学生观察地图,并提问学生:where is the bookstore?It’s next to the post office。之后紧接着提问:How can I get there?(揭示本课课题),并指导学生回答Turn left/ right at the……Then go straight.

利用地图操练本课的单词和句型

Role-play角色扮演
在几部分操练的前提下,邀请学生扮演小交警和问路的人到讲台上扮演:
