追寻名人成功之路
整体设计思路、指导依据说明
以话题为主带动语法的情景教学课。以追溯名人的成功之路的主线,了解名人追求成功的道路上的奋斗史,从而练习过去式和现在完成时。
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析:以话题(成功之路)为主线,语法(过去式,过现在完成时)贯穿整个话题。整节课围绕名人海伦凯勒的奋斗史展开,追寻她的Early Childhood, Met Anne, Formal Education, Achievement Why四个阶段的奋斗历史。
学生情况分析:初三的学生掌握一定的单词量。在经过两年多的初中英语学习后,英语的听说能力得到很大的提高。名人成功之路的学习对初三毕业班的学生来说尤为必要。
3.教学目标分析
1. 语言目标:
(1) 掌握和运用过去式。
(2) 掌握和运用现在完成时
2. 技能目标:
(1) 了解名人的成功之路
(2) 可以运用过去式和现在完成时叙述名人的成功之路。
3. 情感目标:
通过追溯名人成功之路,启发学生探讨成功的因素。只要坚持不懈(persistence),勤奋刻苦(diligence),不言放弃(patience),并且对自己充满信心(confidence),你就可以成功。
4.教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:追溯名人成功之路,了解奋斗历史,最后用含有目标语法(过去式,现在完成时)的句子叙述名人的成功之路。
教学难点:学生对名人成功之路的了解后能否用包含过去式和现在完成时的句子叙述出名人的奋斗史。
5.教学过程设计
学生四人一小组,小组竞赛。四人在小组里面的角色分别是Apple, Banana, Cat, Dog.每人的角色不同,分工也不一样。课堂上能够让每个学生根据自己的角色完成自己的任务,让每个人都有事可做,有话可说,全部人都能参与进来。
步骤1:分别播放4位名人的声音,让学生根据声音抢答猜出名人。其中一位是学生比较喜欢的老师的声音,出其不意,让学生既兴奋又倍感亲切。最后一位名人海伦凯勒的声音,学生难以猜测,进而导出下个环节人物。
设计意图:以声音刺激学生,让每个学生能马上进入状态,从而引出这节课的主题。
步骤2: 给出关于海伦凯勒的信息句子(包含过去式和现在完成时)让学生猜测出目标人物海伦凯勒。
设计意图:出现包含过去式和现在完成时的句子,导出目标人物,从而把学生带入海伦凯勒成功之路的探寻中。
步骤3.介绍海伦凯勒的成功之路分为四个阶段:Early Childhood, Met Anne, Formal Education, Achievement
设计意图:让学生对海伦凯勒的奋斗史有个一个非常清晰的理解。
步骤4.第一个阶段--- Early Childhood。通过快速找时间的方式了解海伦凯勒的孩童时期的遭遇。
设计意图:比较轻松快速了解海伦凯勒的背景。
步骤5.第二阶段---- Met Anne。通过观看Anne教育海伦凯勒的视频,让学生回答问题:1. What can you see in the video? 2. What can you learn from it? Apple 和Banana 负责问题1,Cat和Dog 负责问题2。最后老师总结,为后面的叙述做铺垫,并且引出成功的条件和因素。
步骤6:第三阶段--- Formal Education。海伦凯勒的大学阶段。首先让学生猜测各类大学,并且导出海伦凯勒接受教育的两所名牌学府。让学生假设自己又聋又哑,在大学的求学过程中会遇到什么困难,如何解决。最后老师总结,引出海伦凯勒也克服了种种艰辛,最后成功毕业,为后面学生的叙述做铺垫。并且得出成功的另外一个因素和条件。
设计意图:让学生设身处地思考,把海伦凯勒的遭遇放在自己身上,这种角色的假设更能让学生深入思考,有话可说。
步骤7: 第四阶段--- Achievement。海伦凯勒的前面三个阶段的奋斗得到回报。列举海伦凯勒的成就和影响,把含有过去式和现在完成时句子并排,让学生感知并理解过去式和现在完成时的区别。
设计意图:让学生明白付出就会有回报,就会成功。由三个阶段顺理成章引出最后一个阶段,并且呈现出过去式和现在完成时的对比。
步骤8:由学生叙述海伦凯勒的四段奋斗史,给出关键词协助。小组内的不同角色负责不同的阶段。
设计意图:学生的输出和对知识的掌握反馈情况的检测。
步骤9:总结---名人之所以能够成功是因为他们都经过自己的努力和拼搏。成功并非易事,只要坚持不懈(persistence),勤奋刻苦(diligence),不言放弃(patience),并且对自己充满信心(confidence),你就可以成功。
设计意图:情感升华,让学生根据对海伦凯勒的奋斗史的体会总结出成功的因素。
步骤10.作业---写一篇介绍名人奋斗史的作文。包含名人的成功之路,取得的成就,和成功的原因。
设计意图:学以致用。这节课学生通过口头的方式叙述了名人的奋斗历史,让他们付诸文笔把名人的奋斗史写出来。
