My favorite Chinese festival is the Spring Festival.
It is celebrated on the first day of the first lunar month.
It is my favorite festival because it’s a time for all the family members to get together. It makes me feel happy and warm.
On the eve of the Spring Festival, the whole family get together and have a big dinner. After the meal we watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. All the family stay up late, hoping to have a new start in the following year.
On the first day of the new year, each of us is dressed in new clothes. When meeting others outside, we send greetings to each other. All of us have a good time during the festival.
