观察下列句子,找出句子中的引导词。

宾语从句有三类引导词
1. 由that引导的宾语从句,无意义,可省略.(注意:that做从句主语,不可省略)
He says (that) he misses us very much.
2. 由whether(or not),if引导的宾语从句,翻译为“是否”,不可省略。 if/whether可互换,但whether...or not为固定搭配。
① I want to know if/whether she is right.
② I want to know whether or not she is right.
3. 由what,who,when等特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句。

把下列两个句子合并成一个含有宾语从句的复合句。

that引导的宾语从句是由简单句陈述句转化来的。

2. 宾语从句的引导词
注意if 与 whether 的使用区别
1.I don’t know whether he will come or not.
2.It depends on whether it is going to rain.
3. He wondered whether to stay here.
4.Whether he will come is not decided.
一般情况下,whether与if可以互换,但有些情况例外。
与or not连用,只能用whether
介词后,只能用whether
与to do不定式连用,只能用whether
作主语,只能用whether

观察下列句子,找出主句谓语动词和宾语从句的谓语动词。

He asked whether Alice would come tomorrow.
The teacher said (that) the earth moves around the sun.
1. 当主句是一般现在时,从句的时态不受限制,视情况而定;
2. 当主句是一般过去时,从句的时态为过去时态的一种;
3. 当从句为客观事实,从句的时态为一般现在时。

3. 宾语从句的时态
1. 当主句是一般现在时,宾语从句根据句子的需要,可以使用任何时态。
He will go home. / He is sick. / He is reading a book. (He says...)
2.当主句是一般过去时,宾语从句必须用相应的过去的某一种时态,使主句和从句相互一致(呼应性原则)。
He will go home. / He is sick. / He is reading a book. (He said...)
3. 当宾语从句说明的是客观存在的事实或真理使,不受主句时态的限制,仍用一般现在时(特殊性原则)。
The teacher told us (that) the sun is much bigger than the moon.

5. 注意否定转移
一般而言,宾语从句的否定式与一般句子的否定式是一样的。但若是主句是I / We think/ suppose / guess / believe等时,从句的否定要转移到主句上来。
I think it’s going to rain.

We believe that she will come back.
We don’t believe that she will come back.
He told me that he arrived in Beijing last week.
He told me (that) he didn’t arrive in Beijing last week.
