A Review About “Mother of Ten Thousand Babies”
The title of the article is "Mother of Ten Thousand Babies". It is a biography of a famous Chinese woman, Lin Qiaozhi, who was a doctor at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The article explains how Dr Lin made some very difficult life choices in order to help others, which led to her becoming known as the "Mother of Ten Thousand Babies".
The author probably wrote this article in order to inspire and encourage the readers. I think Dr Lin's story was presented clearly, with the author using many examples to illustrate her kindness and selfless contributions to others. Dr Lin had a lot of chances to live a better and easier life, but she gave everything up to improve the health care of women and babies. I was quite moved by the article, so I think the article was successful in achieving its purpose.
I like this article most because it encourages me to follow my heart. I was very impressed by Dr Lin's good deeds and kind words, and I was especially moved by the quote that begins the article. The only thing that was perhaps missing from this article was a description of how Dr Lin's work is being further developed today. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this article to others.

Sample Writing
“The Stone in the Road” is an old fable about a king who thinks his people are lazy. He puts a large stone in the middle of the road and hides and waits to see if anyone will try to move it.
The story is intended to help readers realize the need to take personal responsibility for problems in the community. The story is quite successful in achieving its purpose, because it has a clear moral.
Personally, I like the clear moral of the story. But the actions of the king seemed pointless to me, because none of the characters in the story learnt anything. For this reason, I think there may be better stories that can impress upon people the significance of taking personal responsibility for their community.
