I’m very glad to receive your letter asking for advice on how to learn English well. There are three ways I often use to learn English and I find them really useful.
First of all, I think you could learn English by being interested in it. This is because if you are interested in something, your brain will be more active and it is also easier to pay attention for a long time. For example, if you like music, you can learn English by listening to English songs. My pronunciation improves a lot in this way.
Besides, it’s also a good idea to read English books. If you read English books that are well written and show good use of the language, you can learn many new words and see how they are used. You can learn English by reading well-known storybooks like Harry Potter or simplified versions of famous books like Pride and Prejudice. Reading a lot of English books really helps with my reading speed. I’m not a slow reader anymore.
What’s more, why not watch English movies By watching movies, you can practice listening to natural speech and you can use the storyline, body language, actions and facial expressions to improve your understanding. Popular movies like Hunger Games and Kung Fu Panda are all fun to watch.
