Halloween
Halloween is a traditional western holiday. It is on the 31st of October.
People often make pumpkin pies and pumpkin bread. Because they are special Halloween food. They are very sweet. How delicious!
At Halloween, people usually make jack-o'-lantern. They put them in the yard, beside the window, on the wall or in front of the door. There are jack-o'-lantern everywhere. How scary!
Many people have ‘fancy-dress’ parties. They dress up in costumes and wear masks. They dress like animals, monsters or famous people. Children like to dress like skeletons, witches or ghosts. How cool!
Children like Halloween very much. They go ‘trick-or-treating’ in the evening. They knock on people’s doors and ask, ‘Trick or treat ’ People must give the children sweets or chocolate, or the children play a trick on them! How interesting!
