as+形容词原形+as…，意为“和……一样……”。如：
Tom is as tall as Mike.汤姆和迈克一样高。
否定形式：not as…as…或 not so…as… 意为“和…… 不一样”“不及／不如……”。如：
Tom is not as tall as Mike.=Tom is not so tall as Mike.汤姆不如迈克高。

形容词、副词比较级的构成
比较级前可以用如(much, far, a lot, a little, even, still) 来修饰, 或者是数量词组来修饰。 如：

2. He is even shorter than Jim.
3. China is much larger than Japan.
