Step 1 Revision
1.Review the words
(1)Show the pictures which were used in the last class and ask students to describe the pictures using the words they learned in the last class.
(2)Show the answers on the screen.
2.Review the conversation
Ask some students to recite the conversation in 2d.

Step 2 Grammar Focus
1.Ask students to read the sentences in the chart in Grammar Focus and then show the following questions on the PPT.Let students think by themselves.
(1)两者进行比较,表示“一方比另一方更……”的句型有哪些?
(2)两者进行比较,表示“一方与另一方一样……”的句型有哪些?
(3)两者进行比较,表示“一方不如另一方……”的句型有哪些?
2.Let students discuss those questions in groups of four and then write down their answers.Choose several groups to report their answers and then evaluate them.

1.Look at Number 1 and make sure how to make a sentence like that.
2.Guide:
(1)First,read the words and guess the meaning of the sentences.
(2)Then,write the questions according to the sentence patterns in Grammar Focus.
(3)Finally,complete the answers.
3.Check the answers and explain why.
Work on 3b
1.Ask students to think about what they were like two years ago.Write about how they are different now.
Give an example:
T:Are you taller now
S:Yes,I am.I'm taller now than I was two years ago.
2.Students work by themselves.Read the example in 3b and write the other four sentences.
